In the time since the launch of the new Concur Travel and Expense system, members of the university community have participated in virtual live training sessions and a series of drop-in office hours to learn more about the system and how to use it.

Across 23 live training sessions and nine open office hours, designed for those with specific or detailed questions, held in June and July, the Travel and Expense Management team supported 2,700 participants.

In addition, as of August 30, more than 4,700 expense reports had been paid through the Concur Travel and Expense system and users had booked more than 2,200 trips.

To access the new system directly, please log in to your myRutgers Portal and search for the “Concur Travel & Expense” app.)

If you have a specific question or issue that is not covered by the trainings or addressed by the educational resources on the Concur Travel and Expense webpage, there is at least one more chance to participate in office hours: Thursday, October 3, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. To register for the October 3 session, click on this link.

Outside of the October session, members of the university community can always consult available job aids including a “QuickStart Guide” for both laptops/desktop and mobile devices, a mechanism for adding your banking information to Oracle Expense, and instructions on how to carry out a handful of university card-related requests.

There also is a slate of nearly 30 instructional videos that address system-related topics that fall into one of four categories: system overview and setup; creating requests and expense reports; preparing and submitting expense reports; and managing university credit cards.

Have a question or issue that cannot be answered using these resources? The Travel and Expense Management team can be reached directly via email at RUTravel@finance.rutgers.edu.
