Travel and Expenses: Travel Agencies

The University maintains an agreement with one centralized travel agency. All travel reservations (air, Amtrak, hotel, and rental car) must be made using the University-preferred travel agency or Online Booking Tool. Travel reservations made with other third parties will not be considered official University business and will not be reimbursable. Exceptions are made for hotel bookings associated with conference/convention room blocks and Airbnb. Refer to the Travel Booking FAQs for a list of approved exceptions.

Active reservations made through one of our previous agencies have not been affected. If you have an unused ticket from a cancelled trip that was issued by one of our previous agencies, please email RUTravel@finance.rutgers.edu for assistance.
