International Travel

Faculty, staff, graduate fellows, and student groups traveling for Rutgers must register with the myTrips Travel Registration website prior to departure for international travel. A traveler creates a user profile on myTrips that can be updated to add or edit trip information.

Rutgers collects this information to locate, notify, and deliver resources to those that may be affected in the event of an international emergency. Travel registration is not required for personal travel or business travel within the United States.
