Monthly Virtual Open Office Hours

Monday, July 14, 2025 - 9:00am to 2:00pm

We invite you to join our monthly virtual open office hours, held on the second Monday of the month from 9 AM to 2 PM.
 

Throughout the day, you will have the opportunity to sign into informal virtual sessions, ranging from 30 minutes to an hour, with Procurement staff from the following teams: Accounts Payable, Purchasing & Contracts, Supplier Management, and Travel & Expense. Come prepared with questions, issues, and ideas or simply to listen and engage with our team.

Candex Presentation

On Monday, August 4, 2025, there will be a new punchout for Candex, a company that specializes in the streamlined onboarding of suppliers receiving one-time, low-dollar payments in specific categories.

The following categories will be processed via the Candex punchout:

• Honoraria
• Travel – Non employee
• Athletics – Game Day Services
• Patient Actors
• Net (Print) Royalties

You will enter your supplier’s contact information directly into Candex. Candex will handle the vetting, onboarding and electronic payment to your supplier on behalf of Rutgers.
 

Benefits:  For these categories only, this change will allow you and your suppliers to:

• Onboard and receive payment in fewer steps
• Bypass PaymentWorks for supplier onboarding
• Bypass Glacier for foreign suppliers
• Bypass Convera for wires to foreign suppliers
• Avoid RU Marketplace wire payment forms for foreign suppliers
• Eliminate paper checks
